Parrot Note is designed to respect your privacy. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII) to our servers. All voice recordings and transcribed text are processed and stored locally on your device.
2. Voice Data Processing
Depending on your settings, Parrot Note uses one of two transcription methods:
- System Transcription: Uses your device's built-in speech recognition engine. This is subject to your operating system's privacy settings (e.g., Apple's Siri or Google's Speech Services).
- AI Transcription: If you choose enhanced AI transcription, your audio may be processed using industry-standard AI models. We ensure that this data is processed securely and is not used to identify you.
3. Data Storage
All your notes and transcriptions are saved locally on your device. We do not have access to your saved notes. If you delete the app, all locally stored data will be removed unless you have backed it up to your personal cloud service (like iCloud or Google Drive).
4. Third-Party Services
Our app does not include third-party advertising or trackers. We do not sell your data to any third parties.
5. Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
